abba moro Nigeria Set To Buy 3 Jets From Czech Republic
 The Nigerian government is reportedly in talks with the government of Czech Republic to purchase three jet fighters from them in a bid to strengthen its fight against Boko Haram insurgency. 

This was made known on Tuesday in Abuja, by the Czech ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. Pavel Mikes, when he led a delegation to the office of the Minister of Interior Abba Moro, Daily Trust reports. It was reported that the delegations which included the Deputy Commander of Czech Airforce, Brigadier General Sebesta Jeromir, revealed that the aircrafts the Federal Government intends to purchase are designed with GPS that is active both in the day and night. He said the GPS would help the Nigeria government effectively monitor her vast borders. The delegation assured that Czech Republic can also help Nigeria to combat the terrorism which is currently bedeviling the country. The envoy further revealed that the cooperation between Nigeria and Czech Republic is beyond combating terrorism to much wider and deeper areas. Responding to the delegations, Abba Moro stressed that it was imperative for Nigeria to collaborate with the Czech Republic on issues of internal security as well as border management. The minister expressed optimism that the delegation visit would further strengthen the relationship between both countries. He also expressed believes that the procurement of the aircraft will supplement the efforts of the Nigeria Immigration Service, NIS, in fighting cross border crimes and insecurity.
